Phi Alumni,
Welcome to our new ePhi website!
For the past year, we've been organizing ourselves and working on forming an alumni association. We've used the ePhi yahoo site to make contact with alumni who have been 'lost' over the years, and to keep in touch with each other.
Because Phi alumni tend to spread out after graduation, it has been difficult to organize an alumni association in the past. By keeping the majority of activity online, we hope to make this attempt successful.
The following are several of the goals that ePhi hopes to attain:
- Obtaining formal recognition as an alumni association from the National Office
- Establishing and maintaining contact with as many Phi alumni as possible (Phi has initiated over 1000 brothers since receiving a charter!)
- Hosting alumni events (service and social) in Syracuse
- Hosting alumni events (service and social) in regional areas where Phi alumni have moved (Boston, NYC, DC , etc.)
- Keeping current on chapter activities
- Assisting the chapter with fundraising (to subsidize service projects, conference attendance, etc.)
What began as 12 people brainstorming in New Orleans has grown into a group of 72 alumni who have joined our ePhi yahoo group! Please pass this link to other Phi alumni and help us grow our organization even more! If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please email me or one of the other officers.
In Leadership, Friendship, and Service,
